Terms of Service

Условия использованияTérminos de uso

Revision of Sep 3, 2026

This is a draft. The final text will be published later.

These terms govern the use of the DCTechs platform by technicians and contractors. In short: we are an intermediary that helps you find each other; we do not guarantee work; you are responsible for the accuracy of your documents.

1. Acceptance

By opening the bot, registering in the cabinet or submitting a request on the website you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

The platform is intended for persons aged 18 and over.

2. What DCTechs is

DCTechs is an intermediary: we keep technician profiles and documents, receive contractor job orders and offer matching technicians a place on a project. The hiring decision belongs to the contractor; the decision to accept an offer belongs to the technician.

We are not the technicians’ employer and do not guarantee employment, any number of offers or any income. The terms of a specific project (rate, schedule, per diem, lodging) are set by the contractor and communicated before you accept.

3. Nature of the work

Contractors typically engage technicians as independent contractors (Form 1099), often through the technician’s own LLC/INC. In that case the technician is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licenses and safety compliance; DCTechs does not pay compensation and does not withhold taxes.

If a specific contractor structures the engagement differently (for example as W-2 employment), its terms apply. Confirm the engagement format before travelling.

4. Account and documents

  • You upload only your own, genuine and valid documents and are responsible for their accuracy and currency.
  • You keep your availability status and expiring documents up to date.
  • By accepting an offer you authorise us to send your document package to the contractor for onboarding on that project.
  • The account is personal: do not share access or create accounts on behalf of others.
  • You are responsible for the security of the Telegram account and email used to sign in.

5. Prohibited conduct

  • Uploading forged, altered or someone else’s documents; impersonating another person.
  • Offering or requesting money for a "spot on the crew", prepayment, "guaranteed hiring" or any similar scheme.
  • Discriminating against, insulting or threatening members, the leader or contractors.
  • Harvesting other members’ data, publishing other people’s documents, photos or contacts.
  • Automated access, attempts to bypass security, gain someone else’s access or disrupt the service.
  • Using the platform for purposes unrelated to project staffing.

6. Community

The chat and the member board are voluntary. By participating you accept the rules:

  • Respect for colleagues: no insults, bullying or discrimination.
  • No scams, selling of spots or requests for prepayment.
  • No recruiting of members into other groups or for competitors, no advertising of third-party staffing services.
  • No posting of other people’s documents, photos, contacts or conversations.
  • Disputes are resolved with the group leader, not in public.

Breaking the rules leads to removal from the chat and the board and, in serious cases, to account suspension.

7. For contractors

  • A request on the website is an inquiry, not a contract. The terms of a specific project are agreed with the group leader separately.
  • You provide accurate information about scope, dates and conditions.
  • Requirements for technicians must be lawful. We do not apply criteria based on sex, age, national origin, religion or citizenship status absent a legal basis and may decline such requirements.
  • A technician’s document package is provided only for onboarding on a specific project; it must not be shared with third parties, kept longer than necessary or used for other purposes.

8. Intellectual property

The website, the bot, the design and the source code belong to us. Your documents and data remain yours; you grant us the right to process them to the extent described in the privacy policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, any matching outcome, or the conduct or solvency of contractors or technicians. You verify information about a contractor, a site and the conditions yourself.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, travel and lodging expenses, loss of data, or the acts or omissions of contractors, technicians and third parties. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations — in that case they apply to the extent permitted.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the bot or the cabinet. We may restrict or suspend access for a breach of these terms, signs of fraud or when required by law, notifying you where possible.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are heard in the courts of the State of Texas unless mandatory rules of your place of residence provide otherwise.

Draft: jurisdiction and the dispute-resolution procedure are subject to confirmation by an attorney.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we will notify you of material changes in the bot or by email and update the revision date. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of the new version.
